In the May issue, Vol 19/5, we take a critical look at the crisis in Mt Elgon region of Kenya, where ethnic clashes and violence have been raging for months, ahead of the upcoming General Elections, meanwhile, the reign of terror continues in Zimbabwe.

With the Easter season gone, we reflect on what lessons we learnt from it as we continue our search for God, this time looking at instances when we do not seek him genuinely, like the Pharisees.

And with Pentecost just around the corner, we get interesting insights into the freshness that the Holy Spirit brings into our lives which are often like juggling between dirty socks! We also take the time to reflect on Pentecost and what it means to us.
In the family pages we look at the man in crisis and the effect that media has on our children. Interesting is also the number of men and women, who have lost their lives serving the Gospel in the recent past, plus laughs and gigs on your leisure page, with the new page; Teach Yourself your Faith.

BRIEFS

KILLING FIELDS OF MT. ELGON
On the slopes of Mt Elgon, a terror gang roamed the hills killing, raping and maiming innocent people for months, in clashes that are believed to be election related, but what are the real issues here, is there more to it than meets the eye?

THE REIGN OF TERROR
Zimbabwe , under a violent and oppressive regime, is crumbling slowly, with a collapsed school system, disintegrating healthcare and infrastructure. A shroud of fear hangs over the once rich nation.
